Stadium - A Place Where We Are at Home

The stadium is a place of utmost importance – a place where all our eff orts culminate on grass of its playground before the audience that attend matches in both good and bad times because they know we have always been fi ghting hard for our colours.

In 1942, the Škoda factory invested in building a sports area on the place of the present club’s stadium. Upon gradual re-building, adjustment and  modernisation, it serves its original purpose until today under the name  Mestský futbalový štadión Dubnica n/V. In 2005, before the third round of INTERTOTO CUP, the stadium underwent complete reconstruction, including extension of sitting places behind the both goal areas.

Most of the stadium is owned by the city and it has been let to the club under a long-term lease. The football club owns directly only the southern tribune and the playground with artifi cial grass.

The stadium’s capacity currently represents 5450 places for audience structured as follows:

• Northern tribune 1299 seats
• Southern tribune 1825 seats
• Guest sector 400 standing places
• Off -tribune seats 1926 seats
• 1400-lux lighting allows using the playground
• with 105x68m area also under unfavourable visibility conditions
